About the Artist

My work predominantly revolves around landscape scenes, often influenced by architecture and water. In selecting subject matter, I am drawn to places that not only capture beauty but also convey a compelling sense of place, merging an aesthetic appeal with an emotional undertone.

I enjoy working with the interplay of color, light and shadow, natural and man made geometric shapes, and the overall mood these elements create.

I am currently painting with heavy body acrylics, which have a tactile quality that allows for many types of brush and palette knife work.

In my painting I hope to convey the beauty, emotion, and story that I see in each composition.
